It is like a staring competition. Hugo hopes that I will put in some pellets, even if it is still 5 hours until pellet time. Miss Eve, in the meantime, is doing the bunny loaf and dozing...she knows that pellets won't drop in before 6pm!

It looks like he is disapproving of the pellet taking so long to get in the bowl!
He looks so proper and patient! Like if he's really, really good, he'll get the pellets quicker. Optimist!
Mario does this, too! Usually I put the pellets in after I ask him to go back to his cage for the night. Sometimes he'll jump the gun, sit in the cage in front of the bowl and wait for them! He also likes to lick the bottom longingly in the morning as if to remind me he's eaten them all up already.
Ooh.. Hugo does not look pleased! Look at that eye.. hee hee
